Burnie

Short version: Burnie does not collect, transmit or share any personal data. Everything you enter stays on your device.

What we collect

Nothing. Burnie has no account, no login, no email, phone or name field, and no analytics. The app makes no network calls. We at Madhu Magic Labs have no server that your device talks to, and we receive no information about you or your use of the app.

Where your data lives

The subscriptions, loans, debts and reminders you add are stored only in the app’s local database on your own device. If you create a backup, it is an encrypted file secured with a passphrase you choose, and you save it to a location of your choice (for example your own iCloud Drive or Google Drive). We never receive it or have access to it. If you lose your device without a backup, we cannot recover your data.

Notifications

Reminders are scheduled locally on your device. There are no push tokens, and no server is told that your device exists.

Purchases

Burnie is free and has no in-app purchases, subscriptions or advertising. There is no payment or billing of any kind inside the app, so there is nothing for us or any payment provider to process.

Children

Burnie is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Your rights (GDPR and DPDP)

Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete on our side. You stay in full control of the data on your device. You can delete it at any time by removing items or uninstalling the app.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page.
